Welcome to
Spaces for Presence

Moments to slow down, unwind and connect.

We're Hampus and Samantha. From our home on James Island and around Charleston — and online — we guide breath journeys, coaching, and facilitation, for people, couples, and organizations.

Most of our work begins organically: a conversation, a meeting.
Welcome to reach out, or simply start below.

The Pause

An unhurried conversation with room to land.

We start with what's actually going on for you — a decision you're circling, a tiredness you can't name, or nothing in particular. Along the way we may slow down together, breathe, or just sit with something for a moment instead of solving it.

You'll likely leave a little more settled and a little clearer, though there's no outcome to reach. No plan, no program, no homework unless you want some. Come as you are.

The Breath

A guided breathwork journey home through the body.

We begin seated, talking about where you are and what's alive right now. Then you lie down, and I guide you through 45–60 minutes of connected breathing — slow, rhythmic, nothing forced — with music, and with pauses whenever your body asks for them.

Emotions, memories, or simply deep relaxation may surface; all of it is welcome and none of it is required. We end in stillness, and with a short conversation to let what happened settle. Wear comfortable clothes and avoid a heavy meal beforehand. No experience needed — the breath does the work.

Deeper breathing is welcoming for most people, but not for every body in every season. If you're pregnant, or living with a heart condition, epilepsy, or certain other conditions, please read our contraindications before booking — in many cases we can simply adapt the session to fit you.

The Partnership

Someone alongside you for a season.

O N G O I N G · O N L I N E O R I N P E R S O N

For navigating a season of life or work with someone alongside you — a transition, a role that's outgrowing you or that you're outgrowing, a question that keeps returning. We typically meet every one to three weeks, 60 minutes at a time, for as long as it serves — some partnerships run three months, some years.

Sessions are conversation first, with breath and practices woven in when useful. We look honestly at what's actually going on and work from where you are, rather than toward who you should become. The free exploration session is exactly that: we meet, we talk, and we both sense whether it fits.

About us

What we're all seeking, underneath it all, is to come back to ourselves — at peace with the moment, at home in the body. But we live in a world that rewards moving fast and looking forward, and somewhere in the hurry we lose touch with the one place life actually happens: here.

What we feel called to offer are moments of connection and simple authenticity — meeting ourselves, one another, and the breath. When that happens, balance, well-being, and even wisdom tend to follow on their own. They were never missing; they were waiting.

We've come to this view after years of exploring far more elaborate practices. What remains is the simplest thing there is: the direct, felt experience of this moment. There's an old Swedish saying about going across the river to fetch water. Our work is the other way — going straight to the water.

Hampus has spent about a decade in what's sometimes called inner work — mindfulness, breathwork, coaching, yoga, plant medicine, non-duality — alongside a career in organizations working with transformational leadership, facilitation, and design. Certified transformational coach and faculty at the Center for Transformational Coaching, integrative breathwork facilitator, 500-hour yoga teacher.

Samantha is currently spending most of her days caring for our daughter — its own practice of presence. When the moment allows, she joins sessions and experiences to facilitate and assist.
